SCALED TICKET PRICING IN A CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE ECONOMY

Introducing scaled ticket pricing, based not on arbitrary factors like ‘getting in first,’ or having ‘ industry’ affiliation, but based on what you can reasonably afford and to what extent you’d like to contribute.

The novelty is the invitation to make these choices for yourself without us officiating the legitimacy of your choice. How fucking liberating. What a relief. Why isn’t everyone doing this?

How nice to start the event from the stand that says the kind of community we value is one wherein everyone is treated like a responsible human, not a deviant needing to be policed. Community feeling from the first moment of interaction with the event.

I have the funds to afford an ‘Overs’ ticket which contributes to all party expenses, a small fee to the main contributors, and to the continued development of Wolfgangs as an arts precinct, and most importantly makes it possible people some people who need to, to take the ‘Unders’ option.
  • Sound is paid for
  • Wolfgangs’ expenses are covered
  • Event expenses are covered
  • Dharma & Simon’s expenses are covered
  • Dharma & Simon are paid
  • DJ’s get paid
  • Contribution to the continued development of Wolfgangs as a community enterprise
This is the fee that a standard ticket would cost. Which contributes to covering party expenses.

  • DJ’s travel expenses are covered
I am a single parent, a full time student or unwaged and don’t have much financial fluidity but can afford to make some financial contribution to the event. Which still goes a long way:
  • Sound is paid for
  • Wolfgangs expenses
  • Event expenses
I am seriously broke, but I do have some time and energy that I can contribute to the event and or Wolfgangs. I can commit to helping out before or after the event and I’m reliable enough to commit to this when I say I will. It’s not a financial contribution but I can help out for at least 5 hours by doing any of the following:
  • Clean up
  • Wolfgangs garden upkeep
  • Odd tasks for Wolfgangs
  • Miscellaneous party stuff that may crop up
